Abgesagt: Baby Jesus, Thee Irma & Louise, 9.05.2020

Baby Jesus is the sound you want to hear when walking in to a rock club. This four piece band originating from Halmstad, Sweden, has managed to channel raw energy through an analogue tape recorder into a mash of rock, psych, surf, garage and punk. They have released two full length albums ”Baby Jesus” (2015) and ”Took Our Sons Away” (2017).

But even if they have managed to bottle their live energy onto records the band has to be experienced live. A live show with Baby Jesus is sweat, blood, tears, chants and dancing, or as Psychadellic baby Magazine puts it:

„This is gnarly garage psych in its truest form right here, folks. No bullshit, no fucking around.“

The Irma und Louise:

Thee Irma & Louise sind aus Bern und seit vielen Jahren regelmässig zu Gast in den schlecht belüfteten Kellern Europas. Angeblich werden sie zwischen den Konzerten jeweils wieder in die Garage gesperrt. Garaschenpunk, D.I.Y. etc. etc. Platten gibt es auch welche, zum Beispiel diese hier. 2022 wird die Band zwanzig Jahre alt, und sie sehen zum Teil jetzt schon so aus. Im November erscheint die neue Tonbandkassette KILL LIST.
